Reality RV is coming to Rally 2009! Wilderness expert and survivalist, Brian Brawdy and his copilot will live in his biodiesel-powered Lance Model 1181 camper on the Rally grounds throughout the Rally. The couple will be challenged to show how much RVers conserve resources while living in an RV and will be frequently monitored by cameras installed in the rig. Rally guests will be encouraged to watch and learn more about the challenge while viewing on a large outdoor screen.

Brian's eco-RV draws its electricity from six solar panels and a wind turbine that allows him to generate and store electricity for various uses. In addition, Brian captures rainwater from the roof of his RV and then filters it for cooking, drinking and bathing.

Affinity is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for our disabled RV tour participants when it is in our control to do so. To assist us in providing this service, we request that you provide us with information concerning any accommodations you will need on the tour at the time of booking. Please keep in mind that we make arrangements with a number of third parties when scheduling events and will need advance notice as soon as possible in order to accommodate special needs. Please remember that at many tour destinations, the accommodations are temporary in nature and may not have all conveniences. Many events may include considerable walking and may not be comfortable for all participants. Facilities, such as seating for the disabled at special events, may not always be positioned with the rest of the group depending on access. We invite you to ask questions regarding specific tours in order to determine if the tours will meet your needs. |
