Rio Grande Community Farm Volunteer Day
The 2009 Rally is adopting Rio Grande Community Farm (RGCF) in Albuquerque with a day of volunteer work efforts planned for Wednesday, April 15. Rally guests are invited to give back to the gracious host community as they celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Greatest RV Rally in the World.

For more than eleven years, the not-for-profit RGCF has partnered with the City of Albuquerque to offer community-based agricultural programs at Los Poblanos Fields-138 acres of historic farmland located in Albuquerque’s North Valley. Providing crops for both people and wildlife, many of RGCF’s produce is distributed to help city schools and local organizations in their pursuits to provide supplemental food services, while also providing hands-on educational and training programs for students.

Albuquerque Rally attendees can volunteer to plant, weed, or perform similar tasks at the farm as part of the Rally's sponsorship day. Special activities for children will be provided, and they are welcome to participate in this event. Transportation to and from the farm as well as sack lunches will be provided. Volunteers will be allowed to arrive at the Rally one day early on April 14 and receive free dry camping for that night. (Note: Standard early bird fees apply for April 15 and 16). To sign up for The Rally’s volunteer day on April 15, click here
